Grand Vintage Malt 1998 is delicate and spicy, with rich, ripe fruity aromas With its rich amber gleam, Glenmorangie Grand Vintage Malt 1998 echoes the deep char of its casks. Ripe pears, plums and baked apples are drizzled with rich toffee sauce. Then comes gentle oak and creamy vanilla, touched by fresh mint leaves and a spiralling scent of incense. A splash of water reveals Glenmorangie’s classic citrus side, light with lemon and mandarin orange. Sweet tobacco is brushed with lavender and a sprinkling of ginger. Zesty, vibrant fruits pop in the mouth, smoothened by chocolate and soft butter candy, scattered with raisins and figs. Then, deliciously hinting at the new charred oak, comes orange chocolate, spiced with clove, ginger, aniseed and sweet chilli.
